Ribble Soup

  • 2 lb. beef roast
  • 1/2 sm. onion
  • 1 egg
  • self rising flour
     
 
Cook a 2 lb. or less beef roast with 1/2 small onion in water until tender. Remove beef. Beat 1 egg and add self rising flour until it is dry and crumbly, approximately 1 cup. Dribble mixture into boiling broth, stirring constantly. Cut beef in small pieces, add to pot and simmer 1/2 hour.
