Potato Soup

- 5 lb.potatoes
- 2 10.5 oz. cans Cream of chicken soup
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 t. salt or to taste
- 1/4 t. pepper or to taste
- 1 10 oz. canned chicken
Peel and cube potatoes. Boil until potatoes are fork tender. Drain off cooking water and return potatoes to pot. Mash with a hand masher or electric mixer until small lumps remain. Add butter, salt, pepper, canned chicken with broth, cream of chicken soup. Add milk to desired consistency. Treturn to heat and heat on low, stirring frequently to prevent sticking and scorching. Heat until hot and serve. Serving toppings - chopped raw onion, garlic powder, cheese |
