Rotisserie Chicken In The Crockpot

- 1 broiler/fryer chicken
- 2 T paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp. onion power
- 2 T. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Place all ingredients, except fryer, into small bowl and stir in water by the teaspoon until a paste forms. Spray slow cooker wth cooking spray. Coat chicken inside and out with the paste. Place chicken in crockpot, breast side up. Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or on high 3 1/2-5 hours. Make sure the thickest part of the thigh registers at 180° on a meat thermometer. May eat as a meal or keep in refrigerator to use in other chicken recipes such as fajitas, chicken salad... |
