Chrusciki (Angel Wings)

- Salt
- Sugar
- Vanilla
- Flour
- Sour Cream
Beat egg yolks until smooth, add salt, sugar, vanilla. Add alternately until well blended the flour and sour cream, start with the flour and end with the flour. Cover and allow to rest for 10 minutes, then knead dough and roll out until thin. Cut strips about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long. Make a cut in the center, pull through and twist ends. Deep fry in 375 degree oil until light brown, cool, dust with powdered sugar. |
