Special Features: The cookbook has a wipe clean soft cover with coil binding so that it lays flat on the counter. The tabbed dividers contain just about all the information a beginner, novice or experienced cook would need to meet any cooking need.

Description: "Favorites From Our Table" contains 300 recipes from our southern community church family and friends. The recipes are truly tried and tested as many of them are shared at our monthly First Sunday Fellowship Dinner. Some of the recipes have been passed down several generations within a family. Our church has awesome cooks and we are glad to offer their recipes to you in this cookbook. If you are ever in our area on the first Sunday of the month, you are invited to attend one of our Fellowship luncheons.

Funds raised support: 100% of the proceeds will support three missions. The first one is called "Unto the Least of His" which is a mission that digs deep wells in places such as Kenya to provide clean drinking water. The second mission is a community group called H.e.l.p.s. and they build wheelchair ramps. The third mission is for Crossroads Pregnancy Center that provides abortion alternatives for women facing a crisis pregnancy. The missions are fully described in the front of the cookbook. It would be great if at least one of our cookbooks could make it to each state in the United States.

Cost: $10.00

• 4 c. leftover mashed potatoes
• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 1/4 c finely chopped onion
• 1/4 to 1/2 c self-rising flour
• 3-4 pieces cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)

Mix potatoes, eggs, onion and enough flour to make a stiff batter. Add bacon if desired. Heat skillet with a small amount of oil on medium high heat. Spoon mixture, about 1/4 cup each, into skillet and press flat. Cook until lightly browned on each side. Place on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve warm.
