Description: "In The Beginning" was designed for our 125th Anniversary Celebration at Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, Ks. It is a hardcover, 3 ring binder with 700 recipes, 14 categories and numerous sub-categories. Besides the obvious, we have included categories such as Cultural, Healthy Choices, Childrens Favorites and This & That. We have also included a large number of recipe's from a previous church cookbook published in 1977. This gives us bragging rights for over 100 years of cooking experience in one church cookbook. We have a quick & Easy Section with Casseroles & Slow Cooker Recipe's. We also have recipe's included for Children in the Kitchen and Pet Lovers. We have a cultural section broken into 6 sub-sections including, Amish, German, Oriental & Native American. Our Healthy Choices Section includes Diabetic & Glutin Free. We tried to cover a sampling of as many different varities as seemed reasonable for one book. It has been received well and is currently being used in at least eight states.
