Funds raised support: Funds raised support the Franciscan Ministries, Inc. In the United States the ministries consists of the following: The Centennial Barn, Franciscans for the Poor, Franciscan Haircuts from the Heart, Our Lady of the Woods, and Tamar's Place.

• 3 med. ripe bananas
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
• 1 1/2 c. chopped fruits (dates, raisins, apricots)
• 1/3 c. peanut or safflower oil
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 1/2 c. oat bran
• 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 large cookie sheets. Mash bananas in large bowl until smooth. Stir in oil, vanilla, and salt. Add oat bran, mixed fruit, nuts and tir well to combine. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Flatten out slightly with spoon. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Place on wire rack to cool. Store in refrigerator.
