Description: "The Flavor of Lemon Bay" is a well-balanced cookbook, chock-full of wonderful recipes from our club members and their friends and family.

Funds raised support: Our Woman's Club presents scholarships to local girls going on to higher learning. We also keep up our clubhouse, which is listed on the Register of Historic Buildings, and support local charities.

Cost: $10.00
plus $4.00 S/H per book.

• 1 c. flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 2 c. chopped apples
• 1 c. chopped English walnuts or pecans
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients well and press into two buttered pie pans. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
