Special Features: This coastal location is a favorite retirement spot because of the beautiful scenery and pleasant weather - golf and boating are year-round activities and winter clothing is seldom needed. Both retirees and business people have chosen to locate here from all over the country. Many have lived all over the world during their careers and share the recipes of many cultures and culinary styles with us in this unique collection. The recipes range from simple, with a few ingredients, to complex specialties perfect for special occasions. Treasured family dishes from a century ago are recreated with updated directions to utilize the products and conveniences we have today.

Description: Oak Grove Island is a beautiful waterfront community near Brunswick, Ga, in the Golden Isles. The Ogi Yacht Club members are great cooks who entertain frequently and consider food to be a major part of southern hospitality. Our first cookbook was published in 2007 and was a real success. This book contains all new recipes with a focus on local seafood and the fresh vegetables our area has in abundance.

Funds raised support: The Oak Grove Island Yacht Club contributes to many important charities each year - medical research, Veterans causes, child welfare - to name a few. We conduct several fundraisers every year to make this generosity possible. Our members donate their time and expertise to projects like this for maximum benefit.

Cost: $20.00
plus $5.00 S/H per book.

• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 cups Vidalia onion, chopped

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix mayonnaise, cheese, and onion until well blended. Place in a shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers - Ritz crackers are a good choice. Makes 3 cups.
